Two insignias, both for the back of a mandarin's court robe, both with the same design, stitched polychrome over a green background, unlined. The colours are white, two blues, two reds, green, yellow and violet. The design is of a crane rising in flight over rock and wave elements into cloud elements. The type of bird denotes the civil servant's rank and a crane on a mandarin square is associated with one of the highest ranks.
