Martavaan met druipend glazuur, celadon

Omschrijving

Oval jar of a porous, pale grey stoneware, rough to the touch and burning pale pink, built up with coils from the exterior side of the base disk and glazed short of the foot. It has four horizontal strap-handles, a constricted neck and an out-turned, thickened and triangular rim. The decoration is a ferrogynous wash applied over slip below the handles, with running drops. The pale celadonic glaze is transparent and cracked.
